As a Nintendo fan all of my life, I am deeply saddened by this loss. But I will not falter, as I will keep supporting Nintendo for the rest of my life.

Still doesn't feel real. That brilliant man was the sole reason Pokemon Gold and Silver exist as we know them. The programmers were having trouble fitting the main game onto the cartridge so Iwata helped them condense the code so well that they were able to fit Kanto as well as Johto inside. Rest in peace, Mr. Iwata.
