To gain watchers on here not something simple, or what to happen in a few days. I find submitting things often (or even once in a while) is a start. When you submit something tag it properly so when people search things they have a better chance to come across you and you stuff. If you are not the art/writer/ submitting sort another thing is to be active on the website, I have gain watchers from just talking around the site. Complement a submission or give critique when someone is asking for it. People really appreciate it and get's yourself out there. =)

Sure thing! Sometimes people are more willing to watch others with icons as well. If you draw, make youself one! If not maybe find a free lineart to fill in and use. Sometimes people are open to drawing art free (always look an see, as some will take offense to asking) an can make you one. OR if you are not against spending a little money could commission someone to make you an icon or full out image. I sometimes have drawn icons and references for people through request and commission.
