Back From Anthrocon! (a few days ago)

It was my first AC/furrycon and I had a ton of fun. I went with
icora and two friends are just getting into the fandom. By the time I booked the hotel the Weston was already filled up so we stayed at the Renascence instead. I'm glad we did, the hotel was very nice. Also the pizza place across the street was very good. I did make the pilgrimage to Fernando's on Sunday and got a dog bowl full of pizza.
I spent a lot of time in the dealers den/artist's ally/art show just looking at all of the art and the stuff. I ended up winning five pieces in the art show, 4 by
hibbary and 1 by
keovi. I also got a badge from
centradragon in the artist's ally and it's fantastic. I got to meet many artists but I was particularly happy to finally meet the
dreamkeepers folks, which ended up just being really awkward, but I've been wanting to meet them for years.
I didn't really go to many panels; opening, closing, and then the Two and Kage ones. Me and some friends also went to a Furoticon tournament for the luls, but then got way too into it and got a bunch of cards. Oh well.
My one complaint, if I had one was that I never make any new friends there. I met people, but then I never saw them again. Overall a good experience though, and I can swing it all be back next year.
