Commission-Only Account!

I want to look at my active Watchers, because I might be turning this into a commission-only account! Although they'll still be very saucy and mostly NSFW, I'm trying to detach most of my characters from porn situations/FA/super-weird fetishes, it's not that I don't like them, it's that I want to show them to people and there are some things in this FA I wouldn't want people to find through my characters, don't get me wrong, I love this site and all the crazy shit I get to draw, but I need to change some small things! Probably very soon I'll be thinking about deleting the submissions in here that feature my characters! I know there's a lot of people who like them but I feel like it's something I should do if I want to move forward...I've even been thinking about creating a new account and nuking this one, although I'm not sure about how much of a watcher/customer base I would lose with that.

If you want to make a comm only account, go ahead
Wouldn't it work better to make some new characters that from the get-go have no ties to the fetishy art at all, rather than shoehorning the existing ones in?
Even with nuking the account it's possible for people to stumble across the art if it's been uploaded elsewhere and they check for the character names.
Really, honestly though - plenty of artists draw/have drawn really porny stuff in their spare time while still getting legitimate jobs. Jebriodo over on dA has done work for marvel, I think. And there's plenty more if you dig around.
Most of the obvious examples are Japanese, but they have a different way to go about art than over here so I don't think it's a fair comparison. (Uno Makoto and Shirow Masamune are the first that come to mind if you were curious though.)
I get the attachment, and wanting to show things to your friend and such, but if you have the fetishy bits still there.... they'd question them a bit, or they'd assume there's porn. And if they went searching your characters up, they'd likely find more than just this account... Essentially what I'm trying to say is that there's really no way to divorce your hyper/etc. art from your other stuff. Maybe 15-20 years ago it would have been possible, but not anymore.
