Okay so I've been back from the con for a couple weeks now... but am only NOW managing to post something about it because I've been sick with death. So while I was at the con, I got to meet n' see a whole slew of folks who I just ADORE within the fandom, and I could begin to rattle of the names of every single one of the people I met - those of you who remember me, thanks. Some of the friends I made out there include Rikkanis, Ankouh, Turic, XanWolf, SaberClaw, Transistor, Edgewolf, Nuka Nuki, 40.oz Fur, and god damn I can't remember of the bloke on the drums - but he was fuckin' talented. xD I also ran into a great number of furs that I know locally, and would love to rally them all together for some fun, but since I've been ill, I've not been able to.
Umm... interesting stories... okay here's one: Bought 2 Gryphon's new DVD while I was out there but had nowhere to put it until I got back to the room. So I had my mate, Darker-Kain hold it in his baggy pants for a while... During which time we both got drunk at Xan's room party, and that night Kain passed out with the DVD in his pants. Mmmmm... passed out with 2 in his pants. xD So anyways, 2's show rolls around the next day, and he's up there talking about his fake date-rape drug experience from the past Eurofurence, and well... Kain and I just can't stop wondering if his pants were secretly in Europe for that con.
The next day at Uncle Kage's Story Time, I was only one of about 6 people to laugh at some old references he made to rather dated tv series, and the bastard called me out on it, "You're old" >..< Dammit, I'm not old. :<
Lessee... OH! While there, half of the Blotch team was selling arts n' signing things, so I had her sign a book by a bloke named "Bloch" called 'Murphy's Law'. Don't know why, but I thought it'd be nice to have Blotch in Bloch's book. :P
I also bought a bunch of comics to add to my ever expanding collection, and a new dragon statue. :3
That's about teh highlights of my time there. :P Its rather overshadowed sadly by the kegger I went to the weekend I got back and got sick from thereafter. x3 Mostly because its fresh on my mind and I'm still a *little* sick from it still. :P
But anywho, I am back and ready party again. xD So till next I scribe, I'll see you peoples around! Ciao!
