Red was a close friend of mine. Gosh this is hard. I miss her so much. I remember the first time I met her and she let me stroke her glorious hair for hours. She used to come over to my house and we'd stay up late talking and laughing. One night as she was leaving she gave me a key and said that it was to her heart and she was giving them to all her close friends. Then another time we drove for an hour to a storage unit to pick up furniture for her new place! It was a fun journey, she hadn't had much sleep the night before haha and she hit a traffic cone and knocked one of the tail lights off her trailer! She also used to blow her smoke rings from her ecigarette for my daughter because she was fascinated by it. Red had a beautiful heart. She was taken too soon.

Red.. I never knew you and we only met once but you showed your compassion even then. You tried to help a stranger. I deeply regret not knowing you and never paying that kindness back in some way. You seem to have been a big-sister figure, from what I can tell.

My sympathies with the tidal-wave of people she touched for the better.

Wonderful people should not go like this, if at all.
