Need Computer Help - Delayed Stuff

Anyone know what to do for a hardware malfunction?
After a bad storm blew the power out, cutting my computer off too, my computer has been acting up. I don't know if the storm is to blame, but it started fucking up after that.
But I get a blue screen saying Hardware malfunction. I used to get it every so often after the storm, but after not using it for more than a week it's been doing it every 20 minutes or so. The most recent being that I didn't even get past the User Login screen for when the screen starts right up.
I'm not the most tech-y guy, so I'm searching for any advice or help. Maybe if there's something I can do without having to replace anything..? Or something of such.
I believe my computer is Windows 7? I also have great Virus protection on it, so that's ruled out.
Any help is much appreciated.

In relation.. expect a further delay in art because I can't seem to have enough time to upload shit before I get blue-screened again. All art will basically be delayed, whether done or not, digital and traditional.
Hoping to get this fixed and get back on track.

If your computer is HP, there should be hardware diagnostics software already installed that can tell you more specifically which hardware has gone wrong. It's a bit hard to move forward without knowing that specific. I would recommend taking your computer to someone tech-savvy and local!
