My Daughter at a Con/Meet

Im a big ball of cuddle wuddly fun time!
Alright i got back from a fur meet and a few things happened that i feel i need to comment on. I'm not aiming this at anyone in particular but you know who you are.
The first thing on the list is my daughter who i might bring with me to a con or meet.
-I NEVER thought that this would need to be said but apparently it does. My daughter comes before ANYONE and ANYTHING. I don't care if im in the middle of a conversation with you, I will completely stop talking to you to see what my daughter wants (assuming that my mate cant handle the problem). Its not disrespect. Its the fact that my daughter is my life. I made a few furs mad by doing this.
-If I am suiting at a meet (Not a Con, as at a Con I have my handler for me and my mate to take care of my daughter while i go to the headless lounge). I WILL dehead at a moments notice, or at least lift my head off a little so my daughter can see my face. I know it "ruins the magic" and is frowned upon but again, my daughter has priority.
-I don't care how well you know me. Do not act like you know my daughter. I am EXTREMELY protective of her. If she comes to you then ok. What happened was she saw this really colorful fur at the meet and walked over to him and pet their paw fur. The suiter looked down at her, knelt down and opened his arms for a hug. She didn't give the suiter one and he gave her one anyway and picked her up off the ground, swinging her a little bit before putting her back down. She ran back over to me and hid behind me for the rest of the meet. I was PISSED. If she doesn't want to interact with you or has a limit, DONT FORCE IT.
-Your a kitty or doggy. To a 5 year old, all fursuits are puppies or doggies or kitties. Do not be offended. She only knows that if you look like a cat, your a kitty. If you look like a dog, your a doggy! A fur confronted me and said that my daughter said that he was a doggy. He said to me that he was a husky, fox, elephant, kangaroo, lizard, skunk, dragon hybrid. That all cool and dandy to us adults. But to a kid your a dog. Plain and simple. Don't be offended. I will agree with her if she says that your a doggy as it makes life simpler than trying to explain a hybrid. She does know Fox though. Only if you look like a traditional fox though. Orange, black and white.
-The final thing is playing around with her. A handful of furs (3) she knows and will play with. The furs that she knows, she will play with and have fun with. These are mainly female furs who have come to know her. Do not assume that because you are friends with me and a fur she knows, that you can join in. Sometimes you can and she will play, other times she will run and stop playing until you leave. Its a hit and miss.
