Check for photoshop tomfoolery. When I was playing along last night, it would take two or three refreshes for it to actually change your page view number.

I think the server caches the page server-side if it gets multiple requests within a certain period of time, only generating a new page once per second or something. Seems like every time I see one of these "Get the Xth pageview!", it ends with multiple people getting the same number without said tomfoolery.
