My tablet is (technically) broken

My tiny niece stepped on the tablet while the cord was attached to the computer, which broke both the tablet and the cord in a way that they can only be used with each other. It's a bamboo create tablet, so luckily not the crazy expensive kind, and it does still function. But if that cord breaks, I'm fucked and need to get a new tablet.
Just a heads up, haha! I don't need to open for any emergencies just yet, let's hope my cat doesn't get excited about how chewable this cord is.

I'll check, thank you! I doubt it's replaceable by now though. I might need the excuse of new equipment for college anyway!
I could possibly re-bend the cord's metal, but I dunno how I'd bend the inner portion of the tablet too!
But I'm glad it's still working for you! My current intuos 4 was dropped once, and now requires I hold the cord in JUST the right angle, so I've taped it up :P
Hopefully it lasts long enough till the next one!
Yeah, my situation's really not that bad, it just could go bad if something happened to it.
Do you ever take it out and about to work on the go? Or is it strictly at home?
With me, I made the mistake of setting up my laptop &tablet on a really small table, and then, yeahhhhh :(
But so far this one is working ok, so I don't need to. If either break for real, it would be really sweet of you though ;-;c;
