I've always been a huge fan of Chipotle's writing (under various of her guises): as long as you like well written fantasy fiction with liberal dashes of humor, romance, action and adventure, and the occasional foray into horror and erotica , you just cannot go wrong with her stuff!

Is this the same ranea universe from the fanzines? I recall reading stories by a couple of different creators set in that world. Or has my steel trap memory, all rusty and stiff, wrong again?

I remember a story illustrated by Pete Stollar about a horse bartender bringing home a unconscious kitty customer to sleep it off on his couch, and misunderstandings ensue. A police procedural set of stories about smuggling across dimensions. and the Watts Martian vampire bat stories were also set there, I think.
