So, someone got angry at me because my icon was not made by me and therefore "misleading." Okay, I'll put up a disclaimer, but tons of artists use icons made by other artists they admire and commission. No need to throw a fit because you're expecting an artist to draw the same as their icon. Just browse the artist's gallery. Geeze.

Sorry if I seem snippy, I'm just a little sore and tired and this rubbed me the wrong way. And two separate friends I was venting to mentioned that they've had unnecessary comments on their icons as well. 1 for having alcohol and tobacco products shown in their icon (cigarette and bottle marked XXX). They were reamed for "pushing" alcohol and tobacco use "down watchers' throats".... I'm not going to publicly say what I think about that. Just watch old cartoons people. That's argument enough for me. And the other was having issues over my friend having a promiscuous icon but stating that they don't do full nude art or adult roleplay with others. Really?? They're far from the first person I've seen that don't like the idea of adult stuff with their characters and someone else's, whether in art or roleplay. The only difference is she has a promiscuous looking icon of her character. Pretty similar to the whole "she's dressed sexy, sure, but that doesn't mean she wants to have sex with you" argument in my mind.


What's with this obsession of being unhappy with other people's icons? They should worry about their stuff. End of story.
