Looks like kishfox

kishfox successfully got our new web server working and all the files are back up! The DNS may still be propagating to some regions, so if you don't see it up yet, it should be available shortly. Aside from the site not loading at all (due to the DNS propagation) please let us know of any problems with the site or files. My animations should be working here on FA again as well. =)

BTW, Kish is working on redesigning the site to be a bit more user friendly and easier to update, so you can expect to see it stay more up to date with some new features once the redesign goes live. I'll still be posting all of my new work here on FA in addition to the site.

Edit: Looks like we still have a few bugs to work out. We're having login issues and some of the files aren't showing, but we should have it resolved soon. Please hold off on letting us know about issues for now XD

Edit2: I think Kish managed to resolve the earlier issue. The site is back up and working 100% as of right now!

Thank you for letting me know about this! I suppose there is a slight error in the DNS A record i made that does not include the "taurinfox.com" version of the URL. I'll correct that now :)

A www alias would be needed in DNS, and I think your virtualhost file needs to know about the non-www version. :)

The DNS records are handled away from VHosts, as Cpanel and WHM handles our virtual hostspaces :P

I don't think cPanel automatically sets the www alias? :P I dunno, I stopped using cPanel a long time ago. Just bloated software and a waste of disk space.

nuh, Cpanel does the Vhost configuration of apache for you. All DNS entries are done through the nameservers registrar. Kinda basic internoodle 101 man lol

hence Cpanel + WHM, otherwise you're stuck diving into httpd.conf and symlinking different VHost configs in the apache directory, tweaking the modules and all that stuff. Been there, done that, Prefer CPanel lol

Not a choice i'm afraid. Cpanel is the quickest solution for multisite hosting on one VPS on the host provider we have. Remember we're constrained by content rating, not all datacenters will host taurin's stuff.

Yep, I was in the process of updating the copyright info on the pages and lost connection between when that file was deleted and before the new version could be uploaded. We're on the line with OVH trying to resolve the connection issue now.

Should be more or less fixed now! I just spent a bunch of time reinstalling the VPS's operating system and all that, all is uploaded, tested and working. DNS entries should be fairly well propagated by now as well :) If you're having problems, refresh your DNS cache or clear your browser history (or both!)

Clear cache on windows: Open a command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns

Clearing cache depends on your browser, but most just call it "browsing history" now. Kinda nonspecific, but in my experience doing that works!

yeh it was pretty tough digging through all the sleezy providers that allow adult content. Luckily, OVH is both lenient AND fairly priced, only $5 more per month than bluehost's subscription. That, and the server itself is much much faster!
