It is infact one curious thing I noticed at a moment. I should come to your streams, but lately, I haven't been able much! x.x. Otherwise, I experience something similar once. (Although, of course, takes in note I only have 350 watchers <w>). There was a moment where I would reach around 15-20 watchers (16 average). But nowadays, just likes you, I experience streams as small as 5 people average, even less sometimes. I'm not sure what causes people to suddenly not watch it anymore. It may either be because of things getting in the way or (And this one is really going to suck :/) that they "are looking for something else", which still brings up my curiosity because, damn, your art quality is amazingly high.

I get about the same stream traffic, I wouldn't worry about it too much. It does suck sometimes, but people seem to have really lost interests in streams unless you're giving away free art or streaming a movie or something.

It's the same thing that happened with journals, and why no one reads them.

The movie part seems to be the least effective though. It's likes if people nowadays only care of coming into a stream for free art. Without being to rude or confused of why, I never got the point of pointing up somewhere if it's to get something for free. It's likes if they were getting paid just watching and sitting down <.>

Streaming always struck me as a strange gimmick, for years. From a viewer's standpoint, anyway; I can understand the appeal of having followers so devoted that they will watch you do just whatever you feel like. I am surprised it took this long for people to lose interest.

You're one of several streamers I would like to watch if I was on at the right time, but satellite net tends to make that impractical.

Often I find myself kinda swamped around this time of night to do my own commission work.
I do like to listen to your streams and watch, but occasionally they are hard to keep track of because need to listen to your talking which can be just a mite bit too distracting if I am engaged in something else.

I just think it has to do with other people having stuff to do. Someone like me who is talent less can't sit around a draw up commissions for a living

I think I have to agree that one reason is that you do stream privately and no one knows unless they check the site first then hop on. I was on for a while and stuff but it did seem slow for the first few minutes then it just disappeared.

I do agree that maybe having a little video or something to keep it active along with just being public tends to work out! I do wish for a bigger turn out for ya next time Ivan and hope I can make it myself!

The only people I want in my stream are the people from this site, So this "Nobody knows unless they check this site" thing is kinda obvious.....

Hmm.. That's true as well to consider. Lot of people messing with others and it's just fekkin' ridiculous. Well, regardless of what you choose to do or time, I'll try to come and interact work and or internet willing!

yer, it's the same with me. Used to have 20 people show up, now when I stream its only for the guy thats commissioning me and one of his friends. I don't even have friends show up to mine!

Do you write journals when you're about to stream? Cause honestly, now that I'm out of work for a while, I've been wanting to catch some art streams while messing about with job apps lol (thank you dual monitors lol)

A lot of the time, at least for me, I look out for journals posted on here that have stream in the name or something so I know that person is streaming or something...

A few reasons.
#1 We will see your art soon anyways.
#2 You're personality scared me. I felt like if I say one wrong word, I'd get roasted. Since I have a habit of saying stupid comments, this situation would happen often.
#3 I'm constantly on YouTube and I don't feel like leaving just to see a guy draw. This is the case for ALL of the people I watch. I rarely watch art streams.
#4 I can never tell if it's SFW. I remember one time I tried to watch the stream/screen froze when it showed a mouse getting shoved into a vagina and my parents walked in. This might be mostly my fault, but it's still a reason.
#5 I'm a horrible person. I'm pretty sure you don't want me around anyways.
#6 If I do log on, the stream would freeze consistently, so I never even watch streams, I'm there for the comments whenever I do watch. This is because my internet is shit.
#7 I feel like a stranger when I'm around you and your friends, partly because I'm a stranger.

Despite all of this, I'll drop by next time you stream. Only to see how many of these reasons are invalid and perchance get to know you better.

I like to watch streams but im usually in bed when i notice you're streaming...I will try to come to more though if i can.

My computer has issues with most streaming pages i can try to tune in more but it's hit or miss

If your using that new streaming service everyone is using, I can't access it.

I never go to streams unless I am buying a drawing! My internet is slow and I have many things to do. Also, some stream people cannot maintain their focus; they will draw for a bit, then check their messages, then watch some videos, and occasionally be yelling at totally irrelevant outside parties on skype the whole time. It does not always happen, but I consistently never have anything to say to the other viewers, who always seem to know each other and be endlessly enthusiastic about some junk I've never heard of. It would be work just to find that bearable. Some of us are best kept away!

But you asked about your streams specifically, so it would be the first reason, since the others do not even come up when I do not go in.

I think it's combination of all reasons people just listed and will yet...us friends know you and your humor better already and find more things to come to, and that is you personality, and sometimes fun doodles, etc.
Even it's frustrating, didn't you say it inspires you to draw? That the company helps anyway?
I cannot watch lately due to working weekends so I always miss it :c

what I can think of is the timezones. you might be in a area when you stream that people can't make. other then that I dont know. sorry man!

I've been working my butt off, and getting home at midnight so I'm too tired to attend any streams. It really bums me out cause I'm missing a lot of my favorite artists that stream in the afternoon.

I often work late hours but I usually join whenever I can, although I am usually silent.

There may also be the fact that most everybody streams, these days. Too much competition.

I used to watch your streams, almost religiously actually, but im afraid i personally have family and work commitments that leaves me unable to attend =/

For me it comes down to time, though if to make time(something not terribly hard to do) then it's the odd awkward feeling of showing up and being all "Hey I'm a random person, like the stuff, now I'm going to lurk and try not to be too weird."

Or in shorter. Feeling awkward for feeling like new person coming in where most people know everyone. Though I think streaming great, perhaps have to start just showing up anyways so it keep going for everyone else which would enjoy it.

Other side of the planet, so you most often stream when I'm working and I rarely have the time free on weekends anymore.

Added to which, I've come to find streaming in the same vein as most sports; fun to do yourself but less interesting to watch. So I'm rarely attending any streams at all anymore and just streaming for myself instead.

And thirdly, back when I did attend semi regularly you and I never really clicked on a personal level so I generally just ended up talking to other people. And that is something I can easily do elsewhere.

for me as much as I love watching streams a lot of time i feel really out of place as far as typing since it seems like everyone knows each other already plus I just end up seeing lots of beautiful art and it makes me want to commission people but i cant atm sadly :( that and the timing, although I really do want to watch more streams

Obviously I go to your streams relatively frequently, so the journal probably isn't directed at me, but when I don't, it's usually because I'm busy doing something else or I just don't feel like hanging with the mice who attend.

I would show up but I have been having issues with the site you stream on as of recently, giving me errors like "This is a private stream, you cannot access it."

I like to watch streams, but in your case, I notice that you tend to stream while I am at Work during the week and the few times I noticed a streaming journal during the weekend, it always started when I had something with my friends.

Long story short, I would like to attend some of your streams, but due to unlucky times for the streams, I almost never can.

in the evenings I'm usually on my iPad or droid tablet, so streams are a little more of a hassle to watch, as is tabbing between what im doing

as said a lot before in those comments, it is the timezone. You start streaming at very late evening/early night or middle of the night. I can't attend when I am sleeping and when I wake up I also don't have time.

Either I'm not online when you are streaming or I'm just drawing myself and because I have to draw on my small screen its kinda impossible to watch something else at the same time x3 Should fix my other Pc sometimes to have a second one for watching movies and streams and stuff.

Looks like you got a few replies, didnt realy read them. So the reason Im not there is internet quilty, and my family time is now limited. Oh I am one of those who REFUSE free art.

If it helps shed a little light onto your situation i'd like to give my personal taste on when I watch a Stream. In honesty i'v only jumped into your streams a handful of times, mostly due to myself not checking FA often enough to catch them, among other things.

Most streams that I do join in on come from friends that list themselves streaming through other services, such as Skype or Steam, in my case. Tigerdile also does well to inform me via E-Mail that someone of interest is currently streaming, which does help, as I check my emails often!

When I decide to watch a Stream, I prefer to set aside the time to actually be apart of it, and not multi-task with other activities. This tends to lead to myself having to weigh between watching a Stream or perhaps doing other activities, such as gaming. My current bandwidth limits how many online activities I can handle at once, so gaming and streaming at the same time can ruin the experience of both if I allowed it.

Fur Affinity does well enough to provide notices when new commissions and such are posted while you're on the site, but most users don't check their Fur Affinity profiles often enough to catch Streamers. I often depend on other services to get notices of favorite Streamers.

In the end, there are many things that can slow down the traffic to your streams, everyone has different reasons and such for not joining in. Mine just tend to be priorities and not being notified about them, perhaps allowing another means of letting your viewer-base know of your schedule ahead of time, or instant notifications, would bring in more viewers!

ill be blunt with my reasons and please don't hate me for them.

1. my job takes alot of my time and i work really ealry in the mornings

2. you have a bit of a attitude when someone says something you think is stupid and make them feel unwelcome when they come on. which how i felt sometimes

3. the new streaming service your using always freezes on me about ever 30mins or 1 hour in making it hard for me catch up what everyone is chatting about in the stream. which some times makes me feel left out.

thats just how things are for me and how i see them. sorry if this makes you angry.

It could be a combination of reasons, really... I don't honestly know what it is, though, but I wish I could visit your streams more, or even help you get more traffic. I could try to do some advertisement and suggestion if you'd like. Your art is definitely worth the extra patrons and viewers.

Art streams are kinda dull honestly, its like watching an episode of that old painting show on pbs...
now if your doing something else at the same time...some artists for example skype call and simelstream with other artists, listening to the sometimes wacky conversations they have is quite fun.
