RainFurrest 2015 Book Launches!!!
We will be having 6 Book launches this year, RF Anthology’s, Kyell Gold, DragonDyne, Ryan Campbell, Clay, and Ocean Tigrox. We will also be having a Meet and Greet of the Furry Writers Guild. Learn more about the books below.
RF General Anthology:
We would like to welcome you in celebrating the fifth annual Rainfurrest Anthology. Every year, we release a book of short stories based on the current year's theme, whose profits all go to charity. Swords and Sorcery is a classical theme that everyone knows from growing up, with everything from The Sword in the Stone to Conan the Barbarian. This year, we present fourteen brand new stories and six new works of art donated to a good cause, including cover art by Rainfurrest's 2015 Artist Guest of Honor, Jan.
Adult Anthology:
In the last two years, the writers at Rainfurrest presented us with a challenge. To match our regular anthology, we release an Adult Anthology as a companion piece. This year, we finally give you Naughty Sexy Furry Writing, Rainfurrest's first After Dark version of our traditional charity work. Six authors give you six different stories to tease with three artists adding their own touch to the genre, and cover art presented by long-time Rainfurrest supporter Rhari.
Losing My Religion by Kyell Gold
The newest book in the Cupcake line, from Kyell Gold and FurPlanet. “Losing My Religion” is the story of Jackson, a bisexual coyote in an R.E.M. cover band trying his hardest to get laid while the band’s on tour, and Zeb, an ex-Mormon kit fox newly arrived to play bass for the band and trying to figure out his life.
Koa and the Drowned Kingdom by Ryan Campbell
When Koa was just a pup, a terrible storm killed his family and tore his wings. Adopted by a family of otters, he falls in love with a bat from the world he lost long ago. He knows he'll never belong in a world made for those who can fly, but he'll brave dark magic and treachery for a chance for one dance.
Forest Gods
Forest Gods: Book Two of The Fire Bearers sees Clay and the leopard god Doto traveling outside the forest to search for the god of the savanna and the reasons for the fury of Doto's father, who has turned the forest against humanity. But while they seek answers, the village healer Cloud begins to suspect Prince Laughing Dog of working in collusion with a terrible god who plans to consume the whole world.
Inhuman Acts - Ocean Tigrox
Stalking the streets after dark is an unwise measure, but some tales are only found in the depth of night. Crime and murder aren't the worst when mirrored against the cold motives of those behind them. Claws and fangs only make it easier for a twisted soul to find an ends to a means. It's all a dark road spiraling down when the deeds done are Inhuman Acts.
Explore thirteen anthropomorphic noir stories about betrayal, corruption and deceit from award-winning authors and new upcoming writers. Pour your favorite whiskey and light up a cigarette as Stanley Rivets, PI shares with you his collection of case files from dim to dark.
