SO YEA!
If anyone hasn't heard, eastern oregon (where I live) has some fires..not just ANY but one (maybe two) about ten miles from where I live..which is pretty scary for me..this isnt a normal fire season for any part of eastern oregon and its growing concern for all of us who haven't had to be evacuated from their homes due to the growing fires..
I'm really nervous, I've had a bad feeling about these ever since it started..just please PLEASE keep all the wild land fire fighters, their families and everyone who has had to be evacuated from their homes in your thoughts.. we have had a few losses from what I have heard..
most of these are from dry lightening and a very very dry hot muggy summer. but a few have been man caused..
More than 5,800 personal are combating at least 18 uncontained wildfires around the Pacific Northwest. Both regionally and nationally, fire officials are at the highest level of preparedness: level five.
its also been said that Lightening storms could cause new fires this week, and strong winds forecast for Friday could grow existing fires... just..hope and pray I DONT GO UP IN FLAMES FER FECK SAKE! If you want to read more on whats going on
