How do you close an account? As I have another account I want to close down as well....

There is no "direct" method to close an account, but you can disable it by going here and selecting the "Disable Account" option.

What I plan on doing is clearing everything out, changing the password to something random and long, and disabling it, then forgetting the password (will likely use lastpass to randomly generate the password and then delete the entry).

I too am curious to know the reason.
