Evicted, but the sun is shinning!

So long story short, I was evicted from my home and had approximately 1 day to grab everything I wanted to salvage and get it off the property before the sheriff locked it up.
It wasn't for non payment issues or anything. I always paid my rent. The problem was I owned the home (I lived in a mini home inside a trailer park) and the home sustained a lot of damage over the winter. I could not afford to repair the damages and part of my lease for the property was that the home must be maintained. So Monday I grabbed everything I wanted to salvage, and put it into a storage unit, and got all my animals to safe temporary locations.
It's weird because I'm technically homeless right now. My new home won't be completed until Mid September, so that gives me a month where I don't have an actual home. Right now I'm staying with my boyfriend in his parents basement. I don't have an actual address yet and I'm away from ALL of my animals.
It breaks my heart and I can't wait to be reunited with them.
But hey, I guess this is just the start of a new chapter. I can put all the stress and negative emotions with that house behind me, and walk into a new life.
And it feels beautiful.
