actually they were not. Sure, they had "Living Tissue grafted to their exteriors" but they were automatons, i.e. robots or androids. They did not "live" per se, merely used a casing of flesh to bypass casual observation/detection

We are trained to fear such things but there isn't much need to. If something goes wrong it goes wrong but I'd much rather move forward than stall and risk evading a potentially civilization changing invention. Wouldn't you? Who knows perhaps this track of science will allow us to get off the earth and fix it by remote. XD The possibilities are endless with anything however. Thanks for the link. I agree with iburnaga. I'd rather move forward. Although, sometime, I wonder if a technology is more dangerous then we thought, or we have no plan on what to do if it goes wrong.
