Way of the Razor and Reed (marital art)
So some of you may be unfamiliar with my past training but I am a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and a 1st degree black belt in Hapkido.
I've always found the practice therapeutic and invigorating and I usually appreciate the aesthetics of the "art" over everything else.
I've recently purchased a highly-rated sword cane from online and I plan to work on creating a martial art centralized around its use. I've found that the closest thing to sword-cane martial arts is Bartitsu, but that's actually just the use of a regular cane that was developed in the late 1800s. I'll be using Bartitsu to assist with some rudimentary approaches, but I feel I will be fabricating this from scratch; but I like a challenge.
The development of this martial art will be a key component in the current literary character I am developing so here's hoping.
Plus it's really easy to acquire a concealed-carry license here in Wisconsin and I wouldn't mind always having a sword-cane with me wherever I go ;)
Images of progression development due to arrive as I further understand its beauty ^.^
