A thank-you note I like to share
This attributes to why I still enjoy doing furmeets and furry cons!
I received a letter from
Fenneci (definitely watch him!) who attended York Furbowl recently. As written:
"Hey, I'm from the York furbowl. I just wanted to say thanks.
I just moved into college on and it's my first time living away from home, so I'm super stressed right now...
When you gave me a hug, my night turned around. It was exactly what I needed, and it was like someone flipped a switch. I was instantly happier, had more energy, and wasn't as angry.
That hug meant so much to me, so much more than a hug normally does. It was exactly what I needed, and helped me release so much anxiety and nerves, and made me so happy, that I'm actually starting to cry a little as I type this.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You just made my transition into college so much better, and without you I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the night at all."

I felt almost the same way when I attended my first furmeet back in March 2013. I was nervous and apprehensive, but once I introduced myself things started to come to me naturally. And I have never regretted a single moment as a furry from that day forward.
