Phew, man it has been a while since I've done any furry work or even was really all that active here.
Fear not! I am alive and well! Lol
I got back from my 10 day vacation to Algonquin Park, and boy was it nice, great weather, nice and hot, got to swim and have a campfire and everything.
Also got to see a black bear and a bull moose! Aaaaaaaaand possibly a wolf, i couldn't tell since it rain across the road so fast, plus it was at least 200 ft away so I couldn't really tell, but I'm gonna believe it was a wolf, lol.
So as of right now I'm working on a deer skull...like a legit real deer skull that my boyfriend, Clyde, found for me when he went camping with his buds, so I'm currently in the works of painting it. It's gonna look awesome once its done!
As for furry art, haven't done a lot, not even sketching really, just trying to get everything in order, we're fully moved into the new place, everything is pretty much set up and cleaned. still a few boxes here and there but they're just knick knacks and such.
I've been pretty busy just with a lot of stuff, making sure our old utilities at the old place are for sure cancelled, and the remaining bill balances get mailed to our new place. Still have a crap ton of debt, but we're getting out of it slowly.
I also recently had an interview, for a FULL TIME job and if I get it I will no longer have to work 2 jobs for pretty much no pay, the new job is minimum but I could work up to 12hrs, all depends on the orders, plus it's also piece work, so ontop of the $11/hr I could be making more if I'm fast enough, but that will come with time. I passed both the dexterity test and the picking test, so I'm just waiting to hear back from the recruiter, if I don't by Friday I'll call him, I hope all my references checked out and that I can get ready to start, I would have to go for a physical first but that's no big deal, I'm healthy and have no issues with my body, so that's a plus!
So if i get that job I would be working a lot more, but I'll be making twice the amount of money I am now, so I'll be able to upgrade my stuff, which will in turn help out my art a lot more.
But that's everything for now, fingers crossed that I get the job!
