A furry a day keeps... idk...
August was kind of crazy, and not a lot got done. September looks more promising and I'm gonna start it off right by getting back on my full-time schedule. What better way than by drawing/posting a furry every day?
yeah it's tuesday, I was up late last night with the first one so... here it is now.
Anyway, I'm still trying to get my speed up while still producing pics that don't horrify, that's the logic behind this nuttiness. And given I start a new job this week we'll see how it goes.
What this means for you: Gift sketches? IDK I have a list of pics I'd like to do, but if someone has a suggestion or would like a free sketch then leave me a comment, maybe I'll throw something together for ya ;3

More-so I think it's where ya think you're weakest in your drawing. xD You pinpoint that and find a way to refine where you think your weakness lies - like, if you're worried about speed - where exactly do you take the most time drawing?
30% construction
30% final lines
20% flats / shadows
20% highlights / finishing
All I can tell you is that construction is the most interesting part for me and seems to take the most time. Or it would, except that inking takes forever and I hate it. I hate it so.
On top of that coloring is fun but I feel clueless while doing it, so there's an area I'd like to work on.
But it's the whole package that needs to be slimmed down. I have a lot of ideas but can't spend 8 hours on every one of them, this week I'm really looking for the middle-ground, trying to turn out serviceable work in a manageable time frame. And it means I complain a lot, hehe.
But that's really good advice! I think construction and inking are two areas I can definitely work on, and you just gave me an idea for inking in particular that might look good! So we'll see with tomorrow's sketch :D
And I do agree, taking that long for a piece must be super frustrating and I hope it works out! I'd love it if you drew me again. :P Was really cute what you drew fore me haha!
I do hope that what you try works out! Also it's never shameful to ask other artists for tips! (I'm no artist xD)
You are the most helpful rabbit possibly ever... and it's fun drawing you too, so when I get a minute maybe I will!
Yeahhhhh backgrounds are a thing... you never notice them until they're bad... lol
