The man existed for 12 years and suddenly disappears from the public eye. He removes his sites and asks his Toy Soldiers to stop selling merchandise and promoting him. He only sent a hand written note to the owner of the fan group explaining that he was leaving as well as the things I just mentioned. He never publicly announced his retirement, just quietly disappeared with no explanation.

You can still buy his music off Amazon but as far as Dr. Steel himself, it's almost as if he never existed. I never got to listen to much of his music before he pretty much left but what I did listen to wasn't all that bad. I've certainly heard worse from bigger names. I find myself very curious about what happened. It almost seems like a Cease and Desist of some sort or some legal trouble. Whatever happened, it made it impossible for him to continue despite the fact that he wanted to. I wonder if I'm the only one that still wonders about the man after all these years.

Sorta feel sorry for him honestly... 12 years is a loooong time to build a character only to have to throw it away. I honestly don't think he would have stopped unless he was forced to...
