What the furry fandom is to me

The furry fandom has always been about creativity, emotional feelings put into one's character, and choice.
When I joined this fandom I was so excited to finally be around people who understood my love for animals, art, and creativity.
I was sadly mistaken. All I have found, is drama, hate on others characters, species, designs, etc. A part of me is regretting spending money on my next suit.
I have just never seen so much hate. It makes me sick to think this fandom was something I desperately wanted to be apart of. We all have the right to stand up for something we believe in, however putting others down is completely wrong.

I do know some good ones, it is just not what I expected. I don't plan to leave the fandom or anything, because I do enjoy myself in it, but it's just surprising I guess, but like you said, furries are still people. and people can be... well not nice. :( I'm always willing to meet new furs though. ^.^
I've seen people bash others for their designs and their names. I've seen people bash others for pulling away from the dutch angel dragons and going just reg angel dragons, it's just awful the amount of drama.
