False pledges?

I don't know why you would be inspired to post a dozen false pledges in the highest tier of someone's Patreon. It's not like we're dumb enough to spend that money before it's sent out. Plus, all you do is make the particular patreon page look more desirable because it's got more folks backing it.

After a pledge, have the system wait a given time before granting access - at which time the pledge cannot be revoked then anymore.
I logged into the Patreon page only to set up support pledges for Silnat and BSP.
And then...oh, they're fake. yay.
The scams evolved to take advantage of the Patreon policy of "If you pledge but can't afford it later, you can retract it before it's committed and won't be charged." Pledge $1, download the art you want, retract pledge.
Aside from that, I have heard this occur many times. Sadly people are just low.
