General Color Commissions Open (3 Slots)

***************************************************************** I'm opening up slots for full-color commissions in a range of styles (listed below, with prices & samples). This can include multiple characters, backgrounds, and are priced for full-figure (head-to-toe views of your character), but I'm only taking 3 spots. Also, these commission spots are for SFW, PG-13 rating and below ONLY. If you want to check to see if I have any NSFW spots open, check my alt account (

DIGITAL - you will receive the flattened 300dpi image file via e-mail
Flat Color: $120
Cell Shaded: $160
Painterly Color: $200
REAL MEDIA - finished commission will be shipped to you. Prices include the cost of postage.
Flat Color (on white paper)- $150
Full Shaded Color (on grey or brown paper): $200
Price modifiers
* Waist-up view (showing about 1/2-2/3 of your character) : 2/3 of normal price, rounded up to the nearest $5 (example: Flat digital color would become $80). Further price modification would be based on this new price.
* Additional characters: +50% extra
* Backgrounds: Only cost extra if they establish setting and/or show props/furniture/etc. Color splashes and abstract shapes don't count & thus don't cost extra. Background cost depends on complexity, and can be anywhere from 25%-200% extra.
* Detailed firearms & vehicles : %10-%50 (depending on size & complexity)
I know that's a lot of info, and may be confusing. ;^_^ You can always ask me for a price quote just for you if you're still not sure how much your commission would be. Just make sure to tell me in detail what you want, and in what medium, rather than simply "how much would it be to draw my character?" Be specific!
Alternately, if you don't have a specific idea, but have a budget you're comfortable with and don't mind a little bit of a surprise, I am totally open to Artist-Interperetation commissions. You provide me with as much - or as little info - as you feel like, and allow me to play.
Payment
I do all my payment through PayPal, to the e-mail address below. I usually ask for 50% up front, with the other 50% due whenever your work is finished. Some people like to pay in full up front, but that is entirely up to you. I can't hold spots for an extended period though, so unless you feel confident that you'll be able to send something within 24-48 hours, it might be best to hold off until you know you can. It's impossible to predict how fast these 3 slots will fill though, so keep an eye on this journal! Spots are just as likely to fill up immediately as they are to be available in a week. You never know!
