Okay... before I get to today's Paw-Post (which with constant meetings today is going to be tricky), I wanted to post this first to have something to link back to. Yesterday, Sera and I were having a discussion about some sort of way to rate the type of footpaw along with the other ratings I assign to stuff. In general, I get a lot of positive feedback from the ratings and descriptions because folks like that it often allows them to know if it's something they're interested in right off the bat or not, so to increase that functionality, a rating that explains the type of paw seemed liked a good idea, and Sera had a really good way to break it down - paw classes. So here's how it'll work:

With this system, you can get a general idea of the type of foot that the link is going to have. :) I know there are plenty of folks on this list who have very particular tastes in paws, so I hope this helps make it quicker and easier to find what you're looking for. ^_^ I can link back to this and tweak/updated it as necessary.

Slight digitigrade preference, eh? :P Well that's the value of these tags - makes it easy for you to see which pictures might interest you most before you even click on them. Also... Maara. <3 Some damn sexy C4 types on that lady. :3

Perhaps... the next step would be a scent classification. XD
Heh, and yes, I suppose we need a 1 to 10 scale for that or something (on which you'd be the 11).
C2 is where the toes start big on the inside of the foot and get smaller as they go out. so pretty much like a human.
C3 is there the toes in the middle are more at the front while the inner and outer toes are a little behind.
But seriously, good job! It makes for a good point of reference going forward. :)

Agreed on C3. :3 Though you know me, I'm a fan of all types. Just.... more that one.
I guess this rating system will help some people, curious to see how it looks when it is implemented in the Paw-Post. I personally don't really need that, since I always look at every link in the Paw-Post, you never know when you might stumble upon a gem or great artist, even if it might not be your favourite paw/foot type X3
Yeah, I think that half if not most of the people on the Paw-Post will just go through all the links anyway, but for the few that are choosy, it helps save some time. If anyone appreciates time savers, it's me! XD I know too that there are some artists who may not have a personal thing for feet, but like drawing certain paw types, so again, quick way to find what they're interested in. Anyway, we'll see how it works out. :)
I feel like my golden zone is actually kinda between those two. But I also don't think there's enough differences to make a different class out of it, heh.

As for your characters, they all seem to stand on their heels and have feet in which the centre toe is largest/longest so I would categorize them as a C3. The Paw Classification system is yet another thing we need to work on as well - Sera and I were really hoping that, at some point, we can get a big graphical reference made up that shows them all much more clearly. Until then, I need to convert the existing one to another Google Doc and get more/better examples. :)
