This life has been good to me, but I believe my time is nearly at its end.
Everyday as I sleep I see my own demise.
I'll try to delay my death for as long as I can, but no matter what
fate will catch up to me.
But before my demise I only wish to have a child of my own.
One who I can tell of my life too, to care for,
to give her the life she deserves and prepare for this dying world.

This world is ancient from birth to now it still stands.
As humanity rose to power slowly our home became ill.
Centuries past and the illness became worse, striped of its natural resources,
poisoning of its skies and seas.
This world has provided for us and we give little in return.
We do as we wish and our home suffers from our actions.

The day I leave this place, with faith my child will be ready for
the dark world that awaits her and maybe she and those who allied with her can
help save our dying home before it is too late.
