Good evening everyone. I just thought I'd check in.
It's been quite a while since I've done any real communication on here. I hope this journal finds all of you well. I know I haven't been as productive as I would have liked to have been. I SWEAR Sex ed has not been forgotten or canceled. I just went through a really rough patch towards the end of this summer. Between a death in the family, the death of my cat, one of my closest friends moving away to university (even though I'm super happy and proud of her hello yes you know who you are), and the stressors of starting school back up again as well as moving to a new job I've been more than a little out of my mind.
Things are going to get better though. I'm slowly starting to get myself back into the swing of college after being out for a year and am currently working on my bsn in nursing. Even though it's a long haul I know that it poses much greater opportunities for me in the future, so I'm holding out for that.
Meanwhile, I finally got fed up the extensive bullshittery on my current medical surgical floor, and will be moving to the Emergency Room at the start of October. I think it's going to be a positive, although daunting, change.
So enough about me. How are all of you?
