what makes a friend???

One of my friends said to me that she no sympathy for me any more and has no interest in my personal life any more because i am "not adulting right" and by that i mean not following her advice. so i stopped being friends with her and she mad at me for not being her friend.
so are friends supposed to not feel sympathy for each and have no interest in there lifes?????
i am crazy for not wanting to be friends with someone like that????

Friends are there when you are hurt.
Friends are always by your side, no matter what situation.
Dictators are only there when they want you.
Dictators are never there to help you back up.
Dictators only need you to be there, when they want something from you.
Also, that "friend" sounds kind of like a dick?
