Folder sorting complete!

Hey, gang!
It took quite a while to sort 650 submissions, but my entire gallery is now categorized by character. We've got one folder for everyone in my cast, plus one for guests. Have a look if you like, and if you find my folders helpful, I'd love to hear about it! I plan to update the description text now and then when I'm feeling inspired, so it's pretty sparse right now.
I really dig the folder implementation FA went with! Ever since they started talking about folders, I was really worried that they would either do away with the main gallery view, or they would make it so that a submission could only be in one folder, excluding either the main gallery or other applicable folders. It's great to be able to categorize submissions, but it would have been a huge bummer to lose the ability to just go through someone's whole gallery by submission date.
It's like Gmail's labels system, honestly, which is pretty neat. What do you guys think? ^^

Also, I can't help but feel that this whole sorting adventure was at least partially my fault, since I was the one who mentioned it in the first place :P Still, it's nice to be able to look at specific characters in an organized way. Now, whenever I want to look at Gale and Gloria having fun with squirrels, I can do so easily!
You had a hand in it, for sure! As soon as it was rolled out, I adopted a bit of a wait and see approach. I was going to observe what other people did with it to see how the system worked and if I wanted to mess with it. You asking about it and providing me with a little more information inspired me to answer my questions with experimentation instead, and then I was off to the races with the sorting. ^_~
Anything to make it easier to see Gale and Gloria is okay by me!
That's a lot of submissions. I can't imagine the headaches you were getting, as there are so many steps involved to make them and organize the files. O.O
More like wrist-aches, really! The interface for creating and sorting folders could certainly use a little workflow love. Likewise, the sheer number of clicks to assign folders from the submission management page is pretty rough. The schema is nice, but the GUI is a bit painful for mass sorting. Moving forward, even if there are no GUI changes, it'll be much less of a hassle to keep things organized as I upload!
