First auction won on eBay!

So today I won my first auction on eBay!
Won a Jets reindeer (the older ones, not lifelike) for only 30$, which I've been looking for a long time.
So that's that. Going to ship to relatives for cheaper shipping, however it does mean I'll only get it by beginning of November.
Other than that, there should be a delivery to me on Monday for some toys, going to have to wait a bit more.
The alligator repair didn't go well. I didn't make sure there was no curve in the patch well enough, and some air is still getting out.
However by lying down on it I managed to find 2 small pinholes, on the outer ring of the body. So now I just have to remove the previous patch and apply a new one, maybe with some vinyl glue.

As for the repairs, if they are a simple seam split, I insert a small triangular object into the hole with vinyl cement on both sides in order to get glue on the two sides. I then pinch the two sides back together again. In addition a bit of clear vinyl over the top also helps. I'm no expert repairer though but this method seems to be effective.
By the way, who/what is Mansfield?
