Thanks for the info! I'll get right on it tonight.
The hotel's website says the room block is sold out already. It's been 3 and a half hours since this announcement was posted. How can this be?
You may want to double check everything is set up correctly with the room block. While the reservation system shows the weekend of April 7th-12th highlighted on the calendar, on the side it says, "Group rate available until March 17, 2016," meaning the group rate is still set up for this year's convention dates. On the advice of the reservations agent I'm chatting with online as I write this, I'm going to call the hotel tomorrow to confirm the group block dates and rate to make sure everything's correct with the reservation I was able to get.
