It almost reminded me of watching the original Star Wars: Clone Wars series from 2003-2005 only this is done in more Japanese anime fashion than the American Japanese-knockoff style

Glad i wasnt the only one who was thinking of gundam =p Man they totally need to make a new feature length gundam film with this kind o animation.
