Fairy Kei is a super cute fashion style and has a great community surrounding it. I wholeheartedly encourage other buys to get into it if they like cute pastel outfits! and if you want to dress in a cute way but don't feel comfortable wearing skirts and such, it's great for still feeling feminine! you can get clothes for the style literally anywhere (i know i got a lot of stuff from primark last summer, they always seem to have at least pastel shorts!)

A child-like style. Outfits are made up of pastel colors (like lavender, baby blue, light pink, mint green, pale yellow, etc.), angel, toy and baby motifs and elements and accessories from Western toy lines of the 1980s and early 1990s, such as My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, Popples, Lady Lovely Locks, Barbie, Wuzzles, and Care Bears. Pastel colored hair is common although natural hair is also popular, hair is usually kept simple and decorated with anything cute or pastel; bows are a common theme. Kinda gets mixed up and sometimes interchangeable with 'Pop Kei', though that's usually brighter/more vibrant/stronger colours. It's super inspired by 80's fashion and culture.

It's really getting a huge popularity boost lately all over.

I started out wearing skinny jeans and blouses with high heal boots. I also did my hair up nice and curly. It went pretty well, lots of people were supportive. I started only dressing up at furmeets, then branching out and doing it more often. I began wearing more skirts, dresses and tights, and now that's actually all I wear haha. So much more comfortable.

Looking back, I'd say it's might be easier starting out with the feminine style jeans, it certainly was for me. It slowly got me used to being out dressed up. Also surrounding yourself with friends helps tremendously! Occasionally there are the times where people stare at me, or make cat calls, or yell out other rude things, but I just ignore it. Yeah it stings, but you can't show it to the people who make fun of you. It's fuel for them, it's what they want. Don't let them take power over you.

My favorite part of being a femboy is definitely all the cute clothes! I have girls asking me all the time where I shop and even wanting me to help them with makeup hehe. One of the many struggles is when I'm wearing stockings (not tights) and panties with a skirt but I didn't tuck quite well enough and everything kinda....falls out. I just thank God I'm wearing a skirt, try not to let my face show what I'm thinking and find the nearest bathroom to adjust lol.

Personally I get quite embarrassed wearing girly clothes out because I am pretty tall, people's eyes are instantly drawn to me >< Unfortunately it's something about myself that I can't change!

Sadly, I personally don't dare go dressing girly IRL. I live in a place where "hates queer people" is pretty much the defining trait, so as much as I'd love to dress all pretty my sense of self-preservation wins out.

i wear pretty much the emo/gothic clothing and then the hoodies for life thing. But i tend to wear more of the tight fit clothing and from time to time girl graphic tees are just too cute to pass up X3 love them.

I love plaid skirts from kilts are pretty freeing X3.


as for people who stare at me i could careless :D but i don't tend to get questioned alot/at all. if they do i couldn't care less.

I've been genderfluid for some time now and I do wear girly clothing at home (nightgowns, leg warmers) but I haven't gotten the money to buy the clothing I really want yet. I'm kinda scared to wear them out in public though since I live in a rather 'redneck' place. I did come out as genderfluid in my college class and not a single ugly look or question (other than "What is that?").

I just wear bright stuff since I'm kinda chubby so any tight stuff (which I much prefer) is out of the question. I mainly express my feminine side through my characters since I'm pretty insecure about myself and afraid of being judged but since I still act kinda feminine I've been called gay quite often (then again I do have a boyfriend XD)

I tend to wear mostly feminine clothing throughout my day mostly. I have to be careful what exactly I wear though because of family having threatened to burn all my clothes before. Though im usually sporting tights or leggings with some short shorts on over them uwu. Sometimes ill wear slip-ons shoes, others, i'll have some boots to match my outfit. I'm almost always wearing a black shirt and jacket, because black is pretty much all i wear. It's really comfortable, and with the cold season coming up, I can find say goodbye to just shorts and get my legs covered again. ♥ I just kinda wear whatever I want. Most my family doesnt care, except for my parents. They can be a bit..phobic of femboys.
