Just added MFF to my list of cons attending because it's looking like I'll actually be going this year??? Just gonna buy my plane tickets and reg with my next paycheck and it'll be official. Already have a room tho so that's p cool. A few months ago I would've said it'd be impossible to go this year but thanks to the magic of Twitter it's looking p good that I'll be there! I just tweeted my interest in maybe going but that I didn't have a room and I've never flown before so that kinda thing makes me super nervous, and within minutes i was given room space and a flight buddy, now I just need to save up to afford everything!! That shouldn't be too difficult if I work OT every weekend and work lunches. Plus if I take care of reg and tickets sooner it'll be cheaper.

Also Saturday, the 19th, I attended my first furmeet with some local Maine furs at the Sparetime bowling alley in Hallowell! That was incredible for me because I'd never actually met another furry irl and it was so liberating to just be myself around them. Yea I still was super nervous for a lot of it (and admittedly I almost had a really bad anxiety attack :s ) but I pulled thru and had a great time. Definitely a new feeling when people are calling you burd irl haha! I can't wait for the next meet in Nov and I'm /really/ excited to start going to cons, FP in about a month and I'm just so pumped!! This meet did help with anxiety a bit and I think I'm really going to enjoy going to cons more now, I still need to work on conversation initiative tho. I didn't actually hug anyone at the meet because I was just too nervous to ask ._. I LIKE HUGS IM JUST AFRAID OF PEOPLE OK
