Depends on how fast you can do your work. If you can pump out a nice refined sketch in 30 mins to an hour, 10 to 15 dollars seems like a good starting point.

Well my speed isn't a worry, its my quality.

Draw a refined example and offer a few slots at a time for 10 bucks. I think with the limit in mind, you'll grab some interested people and not overwhelm yourself.

After you finish a batch, open another. After a few batches, announce you'll raise the price to like $12.00, then after more batches, raise it to $15.00... I think with this method you'll get the practice in to improve as well as earn some money.

After some more visible improvement, raise em to 20.00 or offer colored stuff for like 30.00, and so on.

Start with lower prices, then up it conform the satisfaction and demand. I think is a nice strategy, and I believe a lot of people use it.
