I guess, but I can't help looking back. People know BSting as this weirdo faggot and nothing else. I try to be nice, but it's overwhelmingly depressing.

I guess what I really want is not people to like my art, for people to like me, and I feel awful when people don't... It's not a ego thing, it's more of a "what did I do" moment.

Being mocked for your art is extremely primal, it's not just a drawing it's a part of you that's being targeted :( I'm really sad for you and I'll Definitely miss your art but I completely understand feeling so battered.

Some people just don't have the decency to look away if they see something they don't like. They have to go and make a big deal of it and don't care if they hurt someone's feelings in the process.

I for one think you are a great person who is not afraid to express what you are interested in. That kind of quality in a person should be greatly respected..

That's nice of you to say, but even when I cater to other fetishes for friends and commissions, I STILL get put down for what I do.

It seems like everything I do is brushed aside and I'm mocked frequently. If my work is only going to end up being the butt of cruel joke for people to use, why go on?

Because if you stop expressing what you are interested in, that means they've won.

If I may offer some advice, I think what you need to do is say, "Listen, buddy, If you don't like it, you DON'T have to look at it." and leave it at that. Those people are just being stupid; making hurtful comments on something that they willingly looked at when they easily could have just looked away.

I understand that art in any form can be hard when people criticize it, even if you are very passionate about it. But if you like to do it, that's the only thing that matters.
