The rump has always been the unspoken (mostly) instigator and ground-zero of erotic interest, and wanting to see something happen to an individual's bottom is often how the continued existence of the species is guaranteed (whatever that species may be). Bottom-mayhem, particularly as it appears in cartooning, contains a pretty complex narrative, including but not limited to: winners/losers, heroes/villains, triumph/defeat, schemes/backfires, gloating/humiliation, suspense/climax, etc., etc. There isn't time to cover them all. And the majority of people are into it, and enjoy it, to some degree or other. To see a shapely rear end and not imagine it as a natural target is what I consider deviant. Spankings are fun and feel good as long as everybody concerned knows where the lines are drawn (heh!). Cartoon characters, with their lack of restraint and rapid rate of healing, can give butt mayhem (including bee-stinging) free reign and make the mere availability of a target a pleasure in itself. We've seen examples in which the soon-to-suffer-character actually plays along and presents his/her buttocks in a "just-asking-for-it" pose (and, oftentimes, gets it!). Your stress comes from people who don't get you, and who don't make the connection between bee-stung butts and the eternal, never-to-fade interest in spanking. Is someone who presents their fanny hoping for something to happen sick in the head? So what if some people don't get it—there are people who don't enjoy chocolate chip cookies. What are you going to do—worry about them? I worry about people who don't possess a kink that lights their fire. That's mental illness. ^!^

I think you already have. Where you could use a little good luck is with some of the feedback you've been subjected to. Really, who thinks of bee toxin when they see a cartoon of a pony getting stung on the butt? Did Disney get scolded for thinking allergic reactions were funny when he released Inferior Decorator? Everybody knows snakebites aren't entertaining—that's why you never see them (even on the butt). But a bee-sting is entertaining… when it's on the butt. Donald, meet Spike. Spike, Donald.
