Well, semester's been going with a bang and a thud for the last 6 weeks. Taking 4 classes again this semester, plus working 20 hours a week has left me with very little downtime in which to do the things that I find truly relaxing; ie., drawing and writing. Add onto that the fact that my old laptop finally started going out on me, I wasn't in too big of a hurry to start working on something, only to lose it halfway through.
That being said, I purchased a new laptop just the other day. I shelled out the big bucks (just over $800) for an Asus Flip 2-in-1. The touch-screen interface SHOULD allow me to finish art quicker and more accurately than I was with my old Wacom Bamboo. There's an emphasis on should for a reason, haha. I tried to work on something simple earlier tonight, and after training myself NOT to look at where I'm drawing, doing it again is throwing me off hardcore. Planning to take a day or two someday soon to really fiddle around with it, so look for some random pictures coming soon.
Art Status
