I think the move would possibly be because Livestream has been getting worse and worse with their quality lately. Although, it COULD be due to other reasons from Babs.

Babsstream was the only thing I saw on livestream that actually worked on livestream. I hope your followers on don't have issues on Picarto as you and I saw last night in another artist's stream where some could only see the chat, but couldn't see the art.

To everyone else: I gather Livestream has been a bit of a pain, lately, so I can understand the move. Picarto chat is kind of a pain to use, but their streaming application is much better than Livestream.

How is the chat a pain to use? I didn't really notice that.

One thing I did notice is that, unlike LiveStream's chat, it has a working /me command!

Actually, they've re-designed their chat since the last time I used it. The interface is a little easier to use, but I still don't like it that much.

Gonna miss the recorded streams, but Picarto is way more efficient with bandwidth. Nanook's stream earlier this year was pushing out 1080p in around 300k. That's about the same that Livestream was using for its tiny screen. Neo-Babstream isn't nearly that low (closer to 800-900k), but it's still more than enough to fit through my tiny Intertubes.
