They pulled a coup. As far as I understand it, the one in charge had the actual physical server as well. So in case FA went down, they can still tell people what was going on. But the guy kinda disagreed with FA somethingoranother and banned all the FA staff and took it over completely with him on top. FA got pissed, because the forums had access to personal info and they legally cannot leave with that info. FA got it back, but that's as far as I know. I don't know what happened past that.

Oh, and apparently the forums did a poll and about 80% agree to leave FA and become their own entity. I don't know if that is true, of if anything came of that. But I figure its worth mentioning.
