So as many of you might not know, I am a certified massage therapist (none of that happy ending stuff). I was working in a spa, but after about three months they weren't booking me many clients. Around August, I started working at another spa. I worked there for a week, then there was an eviction notice on the door. So I continued looking for work. I found a spa closer to my house and got a job there. They promised me a steady stream of clients and a full time contractor position. I quit my job at the first spa to pursue this. I came in everyday, even if I didn't have clients. After working at this new place for about a month, yesterday (9-30-15), I get a call from one of the owners saying they're letting me go because the spa doesn't have enough traffic and they didn't see the value in keeping me. So once again, I'm jobless. I am looking for a job now, but I am very much down in the dumps.
