With the federal elections around the corner, I got stopped outside my house while leaving for work by the first political party canvasser I've seen this year and I just had to share the experience...


Canvasser: Do you have a minute?

Me: Nope.

Canvasser: Do you plan on voting in the federal election?

Me: Of course.

Canvasser: By chance, are you voting Conservative? It looks like your neighbours are.

Me: Hell no.

Canvasser: What would it take for you to vote Conservative in this election?

Me: Umm...Experiencing severe head trauma the day before?

Canvasser: Oh.
