Generally their argument was, "People are being mean to me on the internet and disagree with me!" Apparently they never knew the about the block or ignore function.

well if I have to be blunt, they is making a big big big deal out of something that isn't so much just a woman's problem as it is a problem to everyone including but not limited to both of them. its just that those two are actually trying to pull the " oh owe is me" card and failing quite horribly because the majority of the claims being made are about tired of being told they they suck or should die when truth is the majority of people that jump their cases are telling them to shut up because they are desperately trying to apply a "this is a problem all woman face" problem to one that actually is a problem to everyone regardless of race or gender. (note that I am not saying it doesn't exist, but saying that their issues being faced everyday is one that the entire human race faces everyday and is not just a woman's problem)

truth be told, the issue spans farther than them and its not right to send death threats to people over the internet. (see just about any reaction to any change to any video game and you'll see what I mean). so not so much differing opinion as it is lunatics trying to get rid of people they don't like. Usually has something to do with them crying about it because they don't like something being done and have the god given ability to ignore it or find something else to do but then choose to send death treats to everyone.

all the same to me that we could all stand to not jump to assumptions and the conclusions of those assumptions and put in a little more effort to being nicer to each other rather than stupidly saying "I am going to kill you and your family because *insert dumb-ass reason because person is an idiot*" to people that neither know each other nor why its such a big deal.

now that I have written a nice book on the issue I would like my Pulitzer now... or you know. maybe just not get mauled up for a day.

Yeah, but if this problem affects everyone equally, then SJWs can't shove identity politics in your face. They have to pretend it's a gendered issue, like they do with things like Domestic Violence.

well the only reason that they were trying to shove politics into the whole social media sites and gaming community thing was to get people to "play nice".

now I agree that some things should stop, such as the death threats, the endless slander, and borderline dog pile harassment.

but what i don't agree with is that when someone is just pointing out (even if it is in a mean way) that if what anyone is doing is a little wrong for certain reasons or is completely miss informed and then that gets labeled harassment, then some one is being over sensitive or wanted to cause problems.

truth is that these problems do not effect everyone equally, but every equally has the right and opportunity to report the issues that should not be ignored.

Yea, but here's the thing about the internet... you can block and ignore people. It's very different to real life to the point in which if it bothers the person too much they can just stop going online or change their online identity and no one would be the wiser.

well maybe some people, but the issues more or less becomes the ever lasting question on. "is this fun thing I am doing wortht he trouble now that everyone is trying to dramatize this" or in some peoples cases due to Swatting issues "is this fun thing that I am doing worth my life".

If we stopped stuff like SOPA / ACTA / (hopefully) the TPP, and even people who support terrorism benefit from freedom of speech, a few fanatics who are easily offended are not going to do much. It's still disturbing that groups like that exist however... humanity is a demented species.

That's not really the way to stop the madness, they are exorcising their own right to free speech. The way to fight is to express your freedom of speech. Anyhow it's the UN for whom is a joke since they privately made Saudi Arabia a major part of human rights council and you know they execute people for not having a belief in god and... they don't treat women well either over there either.

being as it's the UN anything they decide on isn't considered law. also this would not be allowed to pass in the US as it goes completely against the first amendment. as for other countries who knows if they will listen to these two.

Yeah, pretty obvious that the people supporting this movement think very little of women. I've actually found that girls I know online deal with trolls better than the guys I know xD

There are some good feminists out there, though I haven't seen many since most of the good ones are probably not as vocal as the bad ones. The noisy ones give the whole group a bad image for the most part. Personally I just want to give the bad ones a name of "Professional Victims."
