Hello all! Things have been progressing quite a bit since I last did a journal. I'll more or less be finished with grad school application within the week so that will finally be done with. I don't know what will come of it though. I'm sure I'll get accepted, it's just I'm more concerned with not getting freakishly in debt trying to get a Master's degree. It's a bit of a catch 22 though given the degree will likely be necessary to even get entry level stuff as a biologist. I'm mainly doing this to see what kinds of grants and GA's are available and to get into contact with professors and such. At worst, I just continue at my current job, which is actually not a bad deal as I like my current employer.

Given I've been dealing with this, running, and general "being an adult", I apologize if I haven't been around much for those I chat with semi regularly. Between work and trying to get all that sort of stuff done, I've been a bit drained of energy for social stuff. A social butterfly I am not (though I do think I should do more social stuff).

Finally, to end on a squeaky note, a new equine addition will be coming in here in about two weeks time. I'm really looking forward to this one as he's quite a cutie pie .
