*Throws 3DS and Omega Ruby Out Window

I'm going to flip a biscuit. I've been trying to get a shiny Reshiram in my Omega Ruby game for a while. I have it saved in front of the portal and have 10 Quick balls, 30 Dusk Balls, and 30 Timer Balls. I have a flipping strong team to resist most moves or take minimal damage while throwing balls.
After 368 soft resets I almost exploded with glee when I encountered a Shiny Reshiram! I was so stoked. I even managed to get it in red health without a KO.
I continue to lob balls at it, starting with the quick balls. I move onto the dusk balls, eventually alternating with a timer ball here and there.
What happens? It refuses to be caught and eventually knocks itself out. ...
Words..can't even. I'm so beyond frustrated. I was very lucky to encounter a shiny one with relatively few SR's (compared to the odds). However, I'm almost always unlucky and things never go my way, as displayed. I truly want to huck my 3DS and the game out the window right now.
or I can just trade you some poopy pokemon holding master balls if you want xD
I've traded for legendaries before. Some people bemoan having a legendary that you didn't catch yourself, but that never bothered me. I only despised when people traded one and its name was something retarded. So that would be neat.
Having a master ball or two would likewise be tempting though...ooo.
can still do the shiny thing too if you have a Reshiram ready. <--that's only if you are interested. other than that you can ignore this bottom part xD

my sister got me one in gamestop weeks ago I used the code already but threw my mew in pokebank for now. If only I could trade event pokemon I would have given it to you!
And ohmygosh, I'm almost at 4000 SR's for that Reshiram and I'm almost ready to call it quits for a "natural" shiny.
oh and by the way I had currently to get a new copy of the game since I lost my old one somewhere but I can still get all of that stuff for ya if you need since I didn't lose the device for it(my IGN is still Kem on my new copy

My biggest challenge right now is that I have a 6IV ditto, but it would make things much simpler if it were foreign. Every ditto I get from the GTS claims it has 4-6 IVS and they never do. I take the slow route trading for high IV mates (like Fennekin, currently), and it only has 3 IVs.
My portable counter I use to keep track of my Reshiram SR's broke, so I took a break when I reached 3900.
might take a little while since this ditto somehow has signal beam instead of transform, I'll have to swap that with transform to make it legit xD (that requires me to dump some items out of my bag to a specific number and all that) I don't mind doing this either since I need a breeder ditto myself too.

Was it difficult making that ditto? I've pondered getting a few more foreign 6IV dittos with specific natures (adamant, modest, and jolly).

If you're missing one, I have an extra, old event Arceus (I think from 2009).
I'm not sure there's an easy way to create things anymore, considering my system is up to date.
also I have great news, I ended up finding my copy of pokemon alpha sapphire that I thought I lost so I have lot's of my pokemon back so if you were looking for anything else I could probably help you with something.
I have someone that was working on a few for me, but now I've yet to hear back. I'm not sure if they're going to hold up their side of the deal.
Congratulations on finding your copy! That's great! I bet that's quite the relief.
and as long as you make saves before you put any codes in you'll be fine because last year I actually corrupted my game when the device accidentally disconnected on me but since I had an extra save on it I was able to recover my data as if nothing ever happened. But they say to buy a different usb plug for it since the one that comes with the device tends to disconnect a lot (which is no joke lol, but it does it every so often and not a lot) The only thing that makes me nervous is making that first save lol it's SUPER risky doing this on animal crossing because it loads so slow lol but that 9mil gold was worth it xD.
ah and I have no idea how long you have been waiting on them but I hope they get to you soon!
I've considered getting one since the price is right, though, as you said, it's the first time saving and walking through that I'd be terrified I'd mess up. I'm not the most tech savvy and would have to find a pretty thorough, simplified, tutorial to feel confident.
can you generate a pokemon from scratch. yes~
can you change it's stats. yes~
can you make it shiny. yes~
can you level it instantly. yes~
can you use it online/trade it online. probably not~ unless the generated pokemon was bred and the stats were given to the offspring. But there are things called wonder cards that give you real legendaries / mostly from japan. Most of them are event legendaries though but I haven't tried trading one of those yet.
Still SRing for that Shiny Reshiram, too...

This is the first time I am going after a shiny legendary. It's funny, the first shiny pokemon I ever encountered was in XY (and this is after playing almost every previous game). It may not be very different, but I think the gold on Reshiram looks nicer.
