Because we are an open society somewhat and they get to peek into our internal processes. They complain about us butting in to other countries' affairs because we have a habit of leaving countries less stable than when we went in. We also tend to install despotic regimes simply because they do business with us. We even do business with both Saudi Arabia and China, two countries who have the worst human rights records.

Frankly, we criticize and complain about our own affairs so loudly and so fervently that I believe other countries just butt in because it's all we talk about. We lay our scandals and our disagreements right there on the table for all to see. Not many other countries do. For all our flaws, we are open and for the most part we shoot straight.,
