Remember how in my Valentine journal post I was talking about how I've wanted to find a girl pet to add to my hoard?
Well, guess what!
Jaelyn has officially become my pet. We're painting the guest room purple. It's my pet purple gryphon's room now. Right next to my pet hyena's room.
I own a male pet hyena and a female pet gryphoness.

I am a very happy dragon indeed.
I use the term pet, but they are both actually favorites. Favorites are those who voluntarily serve dragons, and generally spend their time polishing scales and serving their dragon's whims. It is in many ways similar to master/pet relationships, but not actually the same.
I tend to use the master/pet terminology anyway. As a dragon, I'm pretty used to these various human terms not quite matching up for me. And it generally works well enough for those who don't understand dragons to think of it as master/pet.
In any case... krrr... wow. My life has been full of big changes over the last year or two. It has certainly been a rough ride at times, but it looks like it's all turning out to be worth it. Thanks so much to everyone who has been there for me.

Oh well, I like your idea of master Dragon. :) I would love to do all that for them. ^^
As solitary as I generally am, I am a bit saddened that I haven't yet found one for myself. But such things are best left to happen in their own time - the right candidate will make themselves known without my searching.
I hope they bring to you as much contentment and personal prosperity as they receive from you.

That's what changed for me. I stopped hiding under my rock. I got out there, and got social. I didn't find that easy, but I've been getting better at it.
Supposing the 'right candidate' happened to be living near you right now... how would they ever meet you? And under circumstances where they could realistically get to know you?
*squeezes* I hope your luck gets better, too.
On my side, going slowly out of my depression again... Hopefully, I will be back on my paws soon.
I may not be a dragon, but i can definitely feel envy for 'favourites' doting on you. :D I suppose it's my horsey love for being groomed, hehe. If i had pets i'd be groomed often, until my coat was glossy and beautiful... and then regularly maintained *grins*

I'm also glad to hear that life in general also seems to be taking a turn for the better for ya! Heh, I've been rather fortunate myself the last few years, so maybe a good [insert species type here]-ess is in my near future, too? :D

I must be old fashioned. My two, instead of calling them Favorites, I still call them Bookmarks...
Ahem, anyway, yes. Gryphons do very well in such a position. Congratulations. :)
